Описание: ZOO MUSIC was another "post-Rochester Hardcore" band that was formed in 1991 by ex-Three genres guitarist, Deryk "Duke" Kemp and ex-Powerline and ex-Solution vocalist John Schoen(after John moved back to Rochester from his year-long stint in San Francisco). The first bassist and drummer were Chris ________and Greg _______, respectably. Greg also played in RAIL, another 90's Rochester Hardcore band. This lineup recorded the "Live On WBER - 2/10/92" recording, as well as a video for "Moving Day", (with hilarious outtake footage!) Keith Parkins, after moving back to Rochester from NYC, became the band's second bassist. Greg left the band at the same Keith joined and was first replaced by FINNY(ex-drummer for Braintree, ex-vocalist for Noxious and Twisted Cross), having moved back to Rochester himself from the midwest, along with Drew Verstraete, who then joined BIG HAIR. This lineup with Finny on drums lasted enough to record 4 of the 5 songs on Zoo Music's "5 Song EP"(the "5th" song, "Infernal Doll" featured Rob Filardo on drums. Filardo would come in and out of the band as needed, but never joining). There was a final drummer, who was nicknamed "Super-matt", and had an eccentric personality, to say the least. The band's final show was to be in the summer of 1993 at Friends & Players, but as John had already started SHOP CLASS SQUARES with Ande Lee(ex-Dirt Box Five singer), he lost interest and was a no-show. With Filardo as a fill in that night, the band went on as a trio and played all-surf songs. This was to be the beginning of DUKE GALAXY & THE PIPELINERS and the end of ZOO MUSIC.
