The Pont del Petroli Beach in Badalona (Barcelona) is very relaxing, clean and spacious with activities like windsurfing, sunbathing and swimming. Find the bronze statue of a monkey holding a bottle of Anise at the entrance of the pier and you’ll have a panoramic view of the town and the beaches.
The beach is not very far from the city center of Barcelona, and it’s in Zone 1. I took metro Line 4 from Plaza Universitat station to Badalona Pompeu Fabra. I took me about thirty minutes because I had to walk about ten minutes from the station to the beach. However you take a Renfe train from Plaza Catalunya, and it would take just about 20 minutes.
This video is a quick walk at the Pont del Petroli beach, watching the windsurfers, and enjoying the panoramic views.
