The Aeolian vs Dorian has confused some of my students. Let's clear this up with a short video!
When you are playing lead guitar over an A minor chord, which mode is the correct one to use?
Is it the Aeolian Mode, or is it the Dorian Mode?

The musical modes are confusing to many people but it really is simpler than most realize.
There are several ways I can explain the modes, and in this lesson, I chose to only focus on the one note/interval that differs between these two modes.
I encourage you to know both well on the fretboard. They are both extremely useful!
