Welcome to ‪@nextleveloz‬ . We are David and Paula and we've bought our first ever caravan and we are shaking it out on some Queensland road trips in preparation for our Big Lap Gap Year around Australia.

This episode we explore the magnificent Carnarvon Gorge, one of the highlights of our new van shakeout trip. Simply stunning. We get wet feet on the multiple river crossings, David has a pre dawn start to climb Boolimba Bluff and...more bats.

We'd love it if you join us as we get used to our new van and tow car and learn the ropes of living in our mobile home as we prepare to hit the road on our Big Lap of Australia. We expect we will make some mistakes along the way but we will also visit some interesting and beautiful places around our magnificent country.

In these shakeout episodes we tour iconic Western Queensland, camp on Teerwah Beach and then visit the magical Fraser Island before departing on our lap of Australia.
