Welcome! In this video I replace the MLPS (Multi-Level Position Sensor) on my 1997 Ford E-150 Econoline Van. This sensor has multiple functions but the main one pertaining to this video is that is functions as the Neutral Safety Switch (NSS) which locks out the ignition unless the vehicle thinks it's in Park or Neutral. As I'm having an issue where the vehicle will not start until you jiggle the shifter in Park, I'm hoping this replacement is the fix.
