Things to do in Maryland
Fort Smallwood Park
📍9500 Fort Smallwood Rd, Pasadena, MD, 21122
Beach area:
🅿️ large parking lot next to beach and plenty of parking throughout the park.
🚻 bathrooms and port-a-potties located across from the parking lot
💰Entrance to the park is $6 per vehicle.
They sell annual passes for to enter all of Anne Arundel County parks, $30 for residents and $40 for non-residents.
🇺🇸Free for military
🎣 Fishing is allowed
🌊 This beach areas waster is shallow and calm. The kids are able to walk out and have no issues touching the ground.
Playground area:
🅿️ Parking right in front of the playground.
🚻 There are both a bathroom building and Porta potties near this playground.
🧺 There are benches in shade with BBQ pits in the park.
🏀 There is a basketball court near the playground area.
🛝 This playground has artificial rocks to climb as well as swings. We like this playground because it is near the beach area.
