At Ongar Station 1982 (B/W)

Описание: On 26 January 1982 I recorded these views at Ongar station (then the rural terminus of the London Underground's Central Line) using rented video equipment. The "portable" gear in those pre-camcorder days was heavy and rather primitive: the camera had to be supported on the shoulder (London Transport didn't allow tripods) and the recorder was a separate unit with its own shoulder strap. Though supposedly a color setup, due to a technical fault it only recorded in monochrome. Despite the quality of this 40-year old video being far below modern standards (and my beginner's camera technique) I have posted it for its historical interest.
