A historic snowstorm transformed New York City into a winter wonderland, the record accumulation blanketing the city.
A light flurry continued to sprinkle the area, as New Yorkers and tourists enjoyed the wild weather conditions.
Snow ploughs can be seen clearing the roads, after many parts of Manhattan were caked with snow.
The National Weather Service reported more than 60 cm of snow in Midtown Manhattan. with reports that a massive 80 cm fell in other parts of NYC.
