If your RPM needle is behaving erratically, like on my Nissan Terrano, you should be able to fix it with a few screwdrivers and a soldering iron. You'll need a steady hand and a good eye and know how to do good soldering. Make sure you don't short any contacts with too much solder, and don't overheat the solder. There's plenty of how to vids on soldering technique on Youtube. Good luck!
