There’s something about biking to the sea in autumn — the crisp air, golden light, and quiet reflection that comes when the city finally fades behind you. In this ride, I head west along the Ara Canal all the way to Incheon’s West Sea Lock, where the Han River meets the Yellow Sea.
The Ara Trail is one of Korea’s most scenic cycling routes — smooth, peaceful, and lined with trees turning shades of orange and red. Along the way, I take time to slow down, breathe, and remember why I ride — not just for exercise, but for peace, reflection, and a reminder of how far life’s journey can take us.
