Our story begun in 1914 at Quinta do Anjo, in Setúbal, with Venâncio da Costa Lima. A pioneer in distributing wine in barrels throughout the country, in the 1930s he became one of the largest producers in the region. His dedication and personal touch created bonds that have lasted for over a century. The legacy of this esteemed and respected man was passed on to his six nephews, and remains alive today, across four generations, in one of the oldest family wineries in the region."

The beautiful Setúbal region is a microclimate where the vineyards are bathed in sunshine, refreshed by Atlantic breezes, and protected by the Arrábida mountain range. This exceptional harmony of nature is the heart and soul of our wines.
