The capture of Jawali proved crucial as its dense forest and steep ghat regions came in handy when Afzal Khan attacked the Marathas in subsequent year.

The story of the battle at Jawali was narrated by late historian Ninad Bedekar in one of his lectures. We have used the audio of the same for this video.
