Yes, it's a long name for this nice watch, but it tells you everything at a glance. The monopusher chronograph is the most practical version of this complication. Here, the pusher is actually a small extension on the crown. Thus, the case remains a pure circle with very classic elements: lugs and a crown, nothing more. The complete calendar is displayed through windows for the the day and the month, while a serpentine hand points to the date. Chic and funky!
The moon phase smiles out at you from the 6 o'clock position. What we also love about this model is the harmony of the dial and the shape of the Roman numeral markers, which softens the whole and shows fluid lines. This is very specific to Blancpain and has become an identity marker. Caliber 66M8 counts 450 components, and the stainless steel case has a regular diameter of 42 mm.
