IC 7200 EASY DIGITAL MODES

In this video I go through the steps to set up WSJT-X with the IC-7200. I then show it in operation. After I ended the video I made and logged a contact. It has been my go radio for field day and a slip in no issues replacement when needed for my IC-7300 in my home station.

Radio Settings.
Power – 40
Data Mode – ON
Mod – U
D-Mod – U
USB – LVL – 75

Any standard USB cable will do but one with a built in ferrite bead or add clip on beads may prevent issues later on.
You will need an Icom CT-17 CI-V cable. In the past some cables used pirated FTDI chipsets and would not work on Windows 10. I have used the one from Valley Enterprises (Amazon about $28) with no issues after downloading and installing the FTDI driver. In the past I had tried cheap Ebay cables and had issues.
