Sel-Roti Recipe and Direction:

Grind soaked rice to a smooth consistency.
Add 1 cup of sugar (adjust to taste).
Mix in ½ tsp of cardamom and cloves powder.
Add 3 tbsp of ghee.
Gradually add water until the desired consistency is achieved.
Cover the batter and let it rest for 4-5 hours.
After 4-5 hours, thin the batter with a bit of warm water.
Cut the top of a mineral water bottle for making sel roti.
Heat 1 liter of oil for frying.
Shape and fry the roti using the bottle top.
