My Story After Leaving a High-Control Religion (Book Update)

Описание: In 2018, I made the decision to leave Jehovah’s Witnesses after 22 years. I wasn’t born into it — I was recruited at 14 — and for a long time I didn’t fully understand why I was so vulnerable to the message in the first place.

After I left, I started journaling to process everything… and over time those diary pages turned into something bigger. In this video I’m sharing what my upcoming memoir is about: how I got involved, what life inside was like (without turning this into an attack on individuals), and what the aftermath can really look like when you’re trying to rebuild your sense of self and navigate “normal life” again.

This book is honestly a tribute to my 14-year-old self — the girl who needed clarity, safety, and a voice. And I’m choosing to self-publish because I want to keep full authorship of my story. No censorship. No micromanaging. Just the truth of my experience, told in my own words.
