Taking Cooking food back to basics.
Ingredients:
1 loaf – 600g day-old bread any bread of choice brown, French, Italian - you get the idea
2 tablespoons butter and 1 teaspoon (for greasing the baking dish)
oil - optional
1 small shredded cabbage
3 medium potatoes, boiled and diced
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
1 cup milk
4 large eggs
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon caraway seeds
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
oven to 350°F (175°C) – 30 mins
Air fryer 320°F (160°C) – 30 mins
