Monday: Clean Bathrooms

o Clean mirror, sink, toilet and shower/tub
o For toilets, use baking soda as an abrasive if needed
o If you are someone who is grossed out by toilet brushes you can get replaceable wands
o Each bathroom should take 5 mins, you don’t have to do floors those will be another day

Tuesday: Dusting and Surface Cleaning

o Move quickly around your house and dust/clean off surfaces
o The less stuff you have out, the less there is to dust!
o Dust from top to bottom
o Race around the house and do what you can in 15 mins

Wednesday: Vacuuming

o The logic here is that if you dust on Tuesdays, you vacuum on Wednesdays to collect any dust that’s fallen
o Start on second floor with room farthest from stairs , moving room to room towards the stairs, stairs, then lower level
o She recommends using a broom for in between spot cleaning, as I mentioned before I have a cheap handheld vac I keep in my kitchen for spot cleaning

Thursdays: Mop / Wash floors

Friday: Catch All Day

o Use this day to catch up on uncompleted tasks, menu planning, bill paying, laundry, a rotating or deeper cleaning task or just take the day off.

Saturday: Sheets and Towels

o This helps reduce overall laundry load (Note, clean mama does a load of laundry every day / I do 1-2 per week)
o Start right away in the morning and then by early afternoon you can have everything folded and put back

Sunday: Day off!

In addition to my daily cleaning task I do 10 minutes of general cleaning/decluttering (picking up Carter's toys / doing dishes etc). I do my daily cleaning at the same time every day - when Carter goes down for his nap - so it's built into my schedule.

*I know the end scene with Ryan was not our best work (I almost cut it) but I thought it was better than none :) we're getting back into the swing of things
