Before creating Roadloft, the founders Laurence and Samuel traveled all across North America for 3 years while living in their modified minivan. From their experience on the road, they learned what is the most important for the conception and fabrication of their conversion kits. They then created Roadloft in 2018. Made of poplar wood, 30% lighter than cherry plywood, the Roadloft design allows ventilation of the wood and mattress, allowing moisture to escape.

Every piece of the Roadloft kits is sanded and varnished six times with an eco-friendly varnish that has no toxic emissions. The wood is also certified FSC and PEFC. Our kits breathe.

At Roadloft, every detail is thought through to the millimetre, in order to reduce manipulations and easily access the numerous storage spaces.
