Описание: Steve Trauber is a Managing Director, Chairman, and Global Head of Energy and Clean Technology at Moelis & Company. Over a career spanning more than 35 years, he has advised on over $800 billion of transactions across mergers and acquisitions and capital markets, working through multiple cycles in one of the world’s most capital-intensive industries.

Alongside his work in investment banking, Steve has coached and funded one of the most successful AAU basketball programmes in the United States. He has mentored young athletes, many of whom have gone on to play in the NBA, an experience that has deeply shaped how he thinks about leadership, discipline, and long-term development beyond the deal room.

Beyond finance and sport, Steve is actively involved in philanthropy and governance. He serves on several corporate and non-profit boards across healthcare, the arts, and education, reflecting a long-standing commitment to institutional stewardship and community impact.
