Dating to the mid-80s of the Soviet era, the TAL mount has a well earned reputation among it's thousands of users for robust, no-nonsense engineering. The TAL GEM is still manufactured in the city of Novosibirsk, by one of Russia's largest suppliers of military optical hardware.
