Chase Caughey is at it again on his Forbidden Druid with an epic adventure, climbing and descending Hells Canyon, arguably the hardest and most demanding descent in Moab, four times consecutively over the course of appx 12 hours.
Join in and check out the unusual wet conditions, as a hurricane pushed inland from the Pacific for 5 days of rain just before we filmed. It continued raining on us throughout the day, as you can see in the footage. The Moab area reportedly got over 5 inches of rain from the storm. The Moab 240 running race was also on during the storm, we saw a lot of water logged racers up in the mountains as we crossed their route a few times. One of the most memorable things about this day was the wind. As you drop into Hells from La Sal Pass, there are some dead standing trees from the Pack Creek fire about 3 years ago. The winds were SO LOUD as they punished the tree graveyard. It sounded like a 747 jet was about to slam into us. Super eerie and super cool!
