Rigi Kulm: Sledding Guide

Описание: The ski area at Rigi Kulm features three incredible sledding runs. Each of the three slopes offers between 8 and 10 minutes of continuous sledding, covering roughly 3.5km and 440m of elevation.

The runs start at Rigi Kulm and end at Klösterli, where a train offers direct service back up to Rigi Kulm every 30 minutes.
The slopes open early morning and close at 16:30.

Sleds can be rented at Rigi Kulm and returned at Klösterli (next to the train station). The fee as of 2024 to rent a sled for the day is 15CHF and a 20CHF deposit, which you can pick back up at Klösterli after returning the sled.
They offer about 300 sleds for rental, and they cannot be reserved.

To go sledding, you require sturdy shoes and warm clothing as a bare minimum, but we also consider a helmet and ski-googles mandatory. Crashes can never be ruled out and the slopes can be very busy.
In addition, spikes for better breaking can be helpful.

To access the sledding runs, the SBB day-pass to Rigi Kulm is enough. The only addition you might require is the sledge-rental.
