About Squire's Castle:

Squire's "Castle" is actually a gatekeeper's house, which was completed in 1897 for Feargus Squire. He had planned to build a whole estate, complete with manor house, but abandoned his plans when some difficulties with the building project arose. Squire and his daughter used to spend summers at the gatehouse - wouldn't that have been fun, and spooky? :) It is now part of the greater Cleveland area metroparks.
