Hi everyone,
First of all, this is recorded using a cheap bass drum and overhead mic.
The mic is just inside the bass drum.
The bass drum is a 22x14 Gretsch USA Custom with a logo fiberskyn on the resonant head.
I have tried it with a 14" and 16" DW I-shaped pillow and tried to capture the raw sound.
