Saint Albans, Vermont is located in the northwestern part of Vermont. It has a great historic downtown with fine specialty shops, and a variety of restaurants and breweries.
Taylor Park was created as a community green space in St. Albans, now featuring Civil War and World War I memorials, along with a centerpiece fountain. We didn't get over to the fountain in this walk, so we will be sure to highlight it on the next walk around Saint Albans.
The town of Saint Albans was named for St Albans in England, which itself is named after the Early Christian British saint.
