Both sides were recorded on February 1, 1958 at Radio Recorders in Hollywood, California with Elvis Presley on lead vocals and acoustic rhythm guitar, Scotty Moore and Tiny Timbrell on electric guitars, Bill Black on bass, Dudley Brooks on piano and D.J. Fontana on drums. Backup vocals by The Jordanaires featuring Gordon Stoker, Neal Matthews, Hoyt Hawkins and Hugh Jarrett. The session was engineered by Thorne Nogar and produced by Steve Sholes.
