In this tutorial, we explain how to write and upload the code that will blink an internal LED in a Nucleo-64 board. This is a “Hello World” example for coding the STM32 microcontrollers. In these tutorials, we use a Nucleo-64 board. In particular, we are using a Nucleo-F446RE board. However, everything explained in this tutorial applies to any other Nucleo board, and with slight modifications that we will explain, it also applies to other types of STM32 microcontroller boards.
Besides explaining how to write a C code for STM32 microcontrollers, we also explain the GPIO and PIN structure, such that you can easily code functions involving different pins.
