Parliament… the temple of democracy where traditions are upheld… a symbol of the dignity of democratic values… where the foundation of the country’s development roadmap is laid… where policies that guide the nation are shaped… where dialogue unlocks immense possibilities. The most beautiful aspect of this democratic institution is that both sides present their views with dignity, maintaining the decorum of words while respecting each other’s stature.
One side has always kept the dignity of the other in mind while expressing its views. Even opposition was carried out while adhering to parliamentary decorum. In the history of parliamentary dialogue, there have been many such moments where there was satire, there was disagreement, but no one crossed the fine line of civility.
