In rural Slovenia, fires break out in forests and on mountains. Volunteer firefighters need fast moving off-road vehicles to reach fires before they can become devastating – so they use the tough and dependable Ford Ranger pick-up.
Fitted with a 350 litre water tank and high-pressure pump, generations of Ford Ranger still serve Slovenia’s fire crews, backed up by Transit and Transit Custom vans. For Ford – as for many of the volunteers – firefighting runs in the family.
