The 3rd Annual Indigenous Peoples of the Americas Parade NYC 2024 is a celebration of Indigenous American culture on the native continuum from the Arctic to Tierra del Fuego. It’s organized by Native Americans, but Indigenous Peoples of all the Americas join in.
The opening ceremonies and parade are an opportunity to learn about Indigenous culture, including storytelling, singing, drumming, and dancing; and traditional clothing.
The parade marches down Broadway, which was originally the Wickquasgeck trail, carved into the brush of Manhattan by its Native American inhabitants.
