❖ He has won 32 National & international awards, including the highest national Civil Award of Nishan-i-Imtiaz in 2002.
❖Dr. Rahman was elected as Fellow of Royal Society (London) in July 2006 thereby becoming one of the 4 scientists from the Muslim world to have ever won this honor in the last 350 years.
❖He is a highly productive scientist with h-index 73, and citations of 33,863. He served as the Editor in Chief of several leading international peer-reviewed journals.
❖He has published over 1235 international publications in several fields of organic chemistry including 771 research publications, 45 international patents, 70 chapters in books and, 349 books published largely by major U.S. and European presses.
