Filipinos from all walks of life, including students and workers, gave a jubilant welcome to the country's representatives in the Paris Olympics during their homecoming parade on Wednesday (August 14).
The 7.7-kilometer parade kicked of at the Aliw Theatre in Pasay City and made its way to the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila.
Among the athletes on board the float were double gold medalist Carlos Yulo, and bronze medalists Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas.
