Match 12 of GT20 Canada Season 1, saw a convincing performance by the Windies B side to beat the experienced Toronto Nationals side by 8 wickets.
Put in to bat first, the Nationals didn't get off to a good start, losing their openers for just 9 runs. Steve Smith held on to one end, scoring 55* off 43 deliveries and some decent contributions from Anton Devcich and Daren Sammy. The Nationals scored 128/5 in their 20 overs.
The Windies B in the second innings came out with a mission. Their openers, Sherfane Rutherford and Justin Greaves had a partnership of 64 inside the powerplay. With some contributions from Brandon King and Nicholas Pooran, Windies B chased down the total in just 14 overs.
