I loved this band up until "The Resistance" but completely lost touch with them once I started touring full-time in 2012. Muse have clearly evolved into quite the modern pop outfit, but still seem to retain the clever arrangements and immersive songwriting that I originally loved about the band. I discuss the unity between the song's synth line and bass groove, why this approach can produce such tricky bass lines, the music theory behind the song's chord progressions, and much more! 🔪🎈🦇
