Today I will be accessing taste of top rated mutton thali restaurants on Pune Satara road.
The task I will complete withing weeks time so that the taste is in my memory for comparison and finally who wins the race of best mutton thali :-)

Hotel Jagdamba vs Hotel Manas : Crowd:
Both the restaurants I visited at around 2 pm for lunch and both were equally crowded.

Hotel Jagdamba vs Hotel Manas : Service :
Service of Hotel Manas was better than Hotel Jagdamba.
Hotel Manas staff was quick in service and one person was asking if we need anything.
As against that at Hotel Jagdamba we had to do followup to get things in thali, so there was undue waiting time for me to just wait for rice serving.

Hotel Jagdamba vs Hotel Manas : Thali Mutton Taste :
Both restaurants prepare mutton in black masala and famous for their preparations, so it will be interesting to compare them based on taste and prepareation quality.
Hotel Manas Jatra mutton was tasty as well as perfectly cooked.
Hotel Jagdamba mutton was slightly undercooked so I needed to chew it muptiple times and throw the remains!! It was little spicy and to my surprise I found it not that tasty as I thought, looks like its overhiped over time period!!!

Rice comparison -
Hotel Manas Special mutton thali had mutton biryani and the mutton pieces in biryani were soft and juicy. Whereas Hotel Jagdamba provides plain rice or alani rice with special mutton thali.
Also in hotel Manas mini thali, I got plain rice which was soft, sticky and tasty which I love as against hotel jagdamba rice which was very much normal.

Quantity & Price:

In terms of price Hotel Jagdamba was cheaper than Hotel Manas by 100 Rs
so Hotel Manas prices are 30% more costlier than Jagdamba.

Hotel Manas :
Mini Mutton Thali 400 Rs (Not worth of it since it don't have khima & biryani)
Special Mutton Thali 430 Rs
Solkadhi 25 Rs (quantity and quality was better than Jagdamba)
Quantity of mutton was more in Manas compared to Jagdamba (it justifies since price is also higher)

Hotel Jagdamba :
Special mutton thali 330 Rs
Solkadhi 30 Rs
