On December 11, 2025, building on fostering community well‑being, NCHE convened leaders from across the country for this important dialogue on safety and security. The discussion featured personal stories, community insight, and proven approaches for public safety initiatives, share evidence-based lessons learned, and examine strategies that have strengthened community trust while reducing crime and violence.
The town hall focused on the core components of the Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation (TRHT) framework.
Panel 2: Healing and Relationship Building
This panel will focuses on the policies and societal interventions that reduce the risk of harm and violence, such as education and economic opportunity. These panelists shared stories that demonstrate the astounding resilience and creativity of community members.
