Doll Shoes Sew Along with a FREE PATTERN

Описание: This is a sew along video with a free pattern. I created these to go along with the Elsa Dress for my daughter's 18" American Girl Doll.

I used a pleather for the sole of the shoe and for the decorations on the top. I fondly call it unicorn pleather. I found it in the outdoor fabric area in Joann Fabrics. It's an iridescent pleather that changes color in the light. I looooove it.

For the top part of the shoe I used a two way stretch fabric that was from a cheap amazon Elsa costume I had in my stash.

For a decoration I used a little glass drop. But you could use any kind of gem or decoration you like and just glue it on. I used E-6000 to glue it on. If you are using one of the mirror backed gems be sure to test the E-6000 on the gem. Sometimes it will make the mirror bubble and then your gem turns out cloudy and you would need to use a different type of glue.

I used cheap thread I bought in bulk from Amazon :)

Small ribbon is also used. It helps to get the shoe on. It's a tight fit because I didn't want them falling off the doll all the time.
