This Manage WP Review is another No B.S. review brought to you by Internet Marketer and wandering vagabond, Vic Dorfman (that's me!) :-)

When you search for ManageWP reviews on Google or on Youtube, what you find is an endless barrage of endorsements but let's be real here: EVERY piece of software has it's negatives.

So let's get a quick breakdown of the pros and cons of this software:

Pros

Manage dozens of sites from one simple dashboard

Clone sites

Automatically schedule FULL(!) backups to Amazon S3, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.

Bulk update your themes, plugins and wordpress installations


Cons

If you bulk update a theme or plugin that conflicts with an older version of a theme or plugin, you'll have to manually go back and revert to the older version (or contact support for the software in question)

The pricing page is a bit sneaky. You sign up for a 30 day free trial and THEN you get to see the pricing.

It's expensive! If you want to be able to clone sites and automatically schedule backups, you need the professional version, which is pricier. The more sites you want to have on your ManageWP account, the more expensive it gets. And you get billed monthly...


All in all??

All in all, I think the peace of mind that comes from having daily backups to your S3 account worth the monthly cost. And I say this simply because there are NO good wordpress backup solutions out there (that I've found).

Most of them just backup your database. And if something goes wrong with your site or it gets hacked, you need your ENTIRE site to be back online, not just your database!

So essentially, ManageWP isn't JUST an all in one multisite management tool, it's also affordable insurance against "shit", which is know to "happen".
