Setu Bandhasana, also known as Bridge Pose, is a yoga posture where the body forms a bridge-like shape. It's a fundamental backbend that strengthens the back, legs, and core, while also opening the chest and shoulders. The name comes from Sanskrit: "Setu" meaning bridge, "Bandha" meaning lock or bind, and "Asana" meaning pose.
