Theme: Struggle for Social Justice
The final day of the Aal Kadal (Deep Sea) Camp began with the flag hoisting and the thought for the day on the theme “Struggle for Social Justice.” Children reflected on justice, fairness, and the responsibility each person carries in creating an equal world.
The morning continued with dismantling the tents, teaching children responsibility, teamwork, and care for shared spaces. This was followed by an engaging session on “Holding on to Success: How Can We Keep It?”, where children explored how sustained effort and discipline help them hold onto achievements in life.
Later, they participated in creative crafts using palm leaves, guided by Mr. D. Arockiam, developing patience, creativity, and practical skills. The day also included the Camp Evaluation, allowing children to share their learnings, experiences, and the highlights of their journey.
In the afternoon, they enjoyed the exciting Treasure Hunt – Tale of an Old Voyager, which blended adventure, teamwork, and problem-solving. The camp concluded with the Valedictory Function, where children celebrated their growth, performances, and collective spirit.
As they travelled back to Madurai, children carried with them memories of joy, courage, unity, and the deep lessons of the five-day camp—standing firm in struggles and believing that victory will always be theirs.
