“Desperate Annie” takes its name from a bar I used to spend time in during my college years in Saratoga Springs, New York. Many years later, I found myself back there again, standing in a place that held a lot of old memories.
There’s something about returning to familiar rooms after a long stretch of time. The details shift, the years settle in, but if you tune in just a certain way you can almost see and hear the traces of the past.
This performance features Fourth Street Station: Larry Bitensky, Dan Worley, Rob Barnes, and Brian Cusato, a group of musicians who mesh through song and brotherhood.
