Part 2 of the Chasing Tracks West of Brissy ride, continuing on from Linville Road and heading toward our planned camp at Kenilworth.

This stretch turned out to be some of the best dirt roads of the whole trip — fast, flowing sections mixed with rougher patches and unreal scenery. The kind of riding that reminds you why you love getting off the blacktop in the first place.

Not everything went smoothly though.

Dave had a run-in with a driver that really got under his skin, and I charged through a deep water crossing without checking the depth first — one of those moments you instantly rethink once you’re halfway through 😅.

To top it off, we had to change our camping spot at the last minute after finding there was no water where we planned to stay. Classic adventure ride stuff — plans change, you adapt, and the ride keeps rolling.

Despite the hiccups, it was an awesome day on the bikes and a solid reminder that the unexpected moments are usually the ones you remember most.
