Herfstvakantie, dus trokken we er op uit voor 4 daagjes Luxemburg op Camping du Nord.
Camping du Nord ligt in het hartje van de Luxemburgse Ardennen, in het dal van de Sûre. De camping, opgericht in 1967, staat al jaren bekend om zijn mooie natuur, prachtige wandelroutes, viswater en vooral de rust die er heerst. Het campingterrein is gevormd door de natuur.

De naar het zuiden gerichte camping ligt aan de rivier Sûre in Goebelsmühle (Bourscheid) in het rustige natuurpark Obersauer in de Luxemburgse Ardennen. De groene vallei ligt in een bosrijke omgeving aan een van de mooiste en de meest onaangetaste rivierstreken van Luxemburg, zeer geliefd bij wandelaars, fietsers, vissers en motorrijders.

Alle kampeerplaatsen beschikken over 6 amp. stroom en bieden geen plaats aan campers boven de 3ton aan de waterkant.

Direct langs de camping lopen o.a. de ADAC Motor Tour en de bekende Escapardenne wandelroute. Ook de nationale fietsroute PC 16 begint vanaf de camping. De ligging naar het zuiden en de gunstige vervoer verbindingen via de straat, het spoor, de wandel- en fietsroutes maken Camping Du Nord een ideale basis of etappe voor uitochten in de prachtige natuur van de Luxemburgse Ardennen.

Autumn vacations, so we went out for 4 days to Luxembourg on Camping du Nord.
Camping du Nord is located in the heart of the Luxembourg Ardennes, in the valley of the Sûre. The campsite, founded in 1967, has been known for years for its beautiful nature, wonderful hiking trails, fishing waters and, above all, the tranquility that reigns there. The camping site has been shaped by nature.

The south-facing campsite is located on the Sûre River in Goebelsmühle (Bouscheid) in the quiet Obersauer Nature Park in the Luxembourg Ardennes. The green valley is located in a wooded area on one of the most beautiful and untouched river regions of Luxembourg, very popular for hikers, cyclists, fishermen and motorcyclists.

All pitches have 6 amp. electricity and do not accommodate campers over 3 tons on the waterfront.

Directly past the campsite there are, among others, the ADAC Motor Tour and the famous Escapardenne hiking trail. Also the national cycle route PC 16 starts from the campsite. The location to the south and the convenient transport connections via road, rail, hiking and cycling routes make Camping Du Nord an ideal base or stage for excursions into the beautiful nature of the Luxembourg Ardennes.
