🌍Dear friends, Yes! this is how Singapore looked like in 1954 before got its independent in 1965 and became the most expensive country in the world today!
This village land was bought by a traditional medicine seller named Sng Teow Koon in 1956. Due to high rise developments in Singapore, this is the last Village to survive. According to the villages left only 28 units houses here
I met the landowner's daughter had a conversation with and took pictures with her...
She was so nice, she said if you come to Singapore just come and see me, just look for May Sng... that's the spirit of authentic kampong people. May she live a happy, healthy and long life.
