KT Solus 650 testing on Maui!

Описание: Testing the new KT Solus 650 over the last few sessions and wanted to share some early impressions from the water.

This foil is clearly built for speed and glide. The 650 cm² front wing sits in that smaller, high-performance category, which means less drag, faster acceleration, and the ability to link bumps at higher speeds compared to bigger wings. Smaller surface area foils typically trade lift for speed and efficiency, which is exactly what makes them so fun when the bumps line up. (Bart's Water Sports)

In the right conditions the 650 feels incredibly lively under your feet — quick to accelerate, smooth through transitions, turn great, and surprisingly easy to keep flying once you're moving. Definitely a foil that rewards good positioning and active riding.

I’ve been testing it in open ocean downwind conditions and focusing on:
• Pump efficiency
• Glide between bumps
• Top-end speed and low end ability 
• Stability at high speed

More sessions coming soon as I keep dialing it in.
