John Evans-Pughe was a chorister at St. Nicholas College, Chiselhurst, and recorded Brother James' Air and O lovely peace in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Holborn, London 4 June 1939. His younger brother, Tom, joined the same choir in the mid 1930's.
