Описание: Russia’s Federal Security Service says it has thwarted a planned assassination attempt targeting a Russian Defence Ministry serviceman in the southern city of Stavropol, detaining an 18-year-old woman accused of acting on instructions from Ukrainian special services. According to the FSB, the suspect travelled from the Krasnodar region, collected a homemade explosive device with a reported power of 400 grams in TNT equivalent, and carried out reconnaissance near a military unit, photographing vehicles in a car park before planning to plant the device on one of the cars. Footage released by the agency shows the arrest, a search operation, and a recorded confession in which the suspect admits her role and expresses remorse. Investigators have opened a criminal case on charges including attempted terrorism and illegal handling of explosives.
