Thal Expressway Project:
The Punjab Government has given the green signal to build a controlled-access, 4-lane expressway through the Thal desert area. This new highway is designed to be a modern, high-speed road that will improve travel and transport connectivity across the region.

This means the project’s final route is being optimized based on efficiency, cost, and connectivity needs.

📌 Major Structures
Two significant bridges to be built over the Jhelum and Chenab rivers, enabling uninterrupted connectivity across these waterways.
