Bull Moose With Weird Antlers Practice Fights With Young Bull
Welcome to Moose & Coffee with Van Gogh and TJ.
Both of these bulls are special to us in their own way. We have watched and studied both of them since 2022.
Today’s video is from an epic day of filming last September. We watched with fascination as young TJ instigated a sparring match with 23 (FT23), and after he got his practice sparring in with the big guy, he found Van Gogh and did it all over again. It was super fun to watch his subdued aggression. We’ve already shared the 23 vs TJ video back on New Year’s Day (you can easily scroll back to watch that one again. Now it’s time for TJ vs VG.
Now is a good time to explain to everyone where we are with sharing the 2024 rut. Some of you may be right in tune with where it’s at, but others may be wondering. So, we’ve basically shared the velvet shedding, the sparring, the rut pits, and even a moose fight. So that brings us right into the peak of the rut and beyond right into the “post rut” wind down.
That means today’s video is “out of sequence” but that happens regularly here and I just try to point it out when it does. Last Saturday you watched the showdown between 23 and Mack which happened right at the beginning of post rut behavior. We’ll keep you posted, and we hope you enjoy today’s feature.
